Valentine's Day Activity: Scavenger Hunt!

Here is a fun activity for your little loved ones to enjoy during this special season of love!  My kids always enjoy a scavenger hunt or a quick list of activities to complete.  These hunts work well individually, or put your little ones on a team if they need help reading or completing tasks.  
Feel free to make up your own list if you have objects in the house (ex. write a story based on this candy heart saying!) or print this if you want to keep things simple.

This is the perfect time of year to shower our kids with plenty of affection in the form of many hugs and kisses!  Remind your kids (as always!) that you love them, and don't forget to be specific.  

To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. This is a special day for us. The Christmas season is already in full swing and now, to top it all off, today marks our 100th blog post.  When Kylee and I joined forces to start this blog last April, we blindly entered the world of mom-blogging, hoping we wouldn't get "blogged down" in the process. So far we have learned a lot, met many great moms and received lots of encouragement from you all. We are feeling very blessed!

In order to officially toot the ceremonial horn on this special day, we are offering this fun giveaway.  Our goal is to reward our current friends while also meeting many more new friends.

We are offering 2 large (11X14 each) original acrylic paintings on canvas.  These paintings were designed and created by me (Tara) and contain a background acrylic painting, paper details (tree and words), as well as thread which is hand sewn into the canvas to attach the letters.

TeePee Giveaway!!!

It is time for our biggest giveaway yet!

As I think back to one of my favorite childhood toys, I remember the teepee my mom made for us and the hours we spent playing inside.  I asked Kylee if she could make a teepee, and of course she came through!  It is awesome--the creative opportunities with this 6 ft tower of fun are endless. The best thing about this teepee is that it easily folds together for collapsible storage under a bed or in a closet.  Boys and girls alike will LOVE camping out in the living room under the big top of your very own teepee.

**Due to the size of this prize, we need to talk briefly about shipping! The poles on this teepee are over 6 ft. tall.  If our winner is outside the Greenville area and the teepee needs to be shipped, we will be happy to ship the cloth teepee without poles directly to you.  You can easily have custom poles cut at your local hardware store and we will send instructions.  IF you want the teepee sent WITH poles, we will need to charge additional shipping cost.
